A BE Mindset: Gratitude Practice #ProTips

~ Give Thanks ✨ Always ~

If not always, often

💗 Gratitude is scientifically proven to increase health + quality of life.

Yet when stressed, traumatized, depressed or irritated, etc … it can be enormously hard to do.

🌱 If this is true for you, you’re in good company + not alone. Especially around the holidays.

Not all holidays are holiyays.

✨ Here are #ProTips that have helped me when I’ve been at my lowest. Trauma survivor -> to thriver right here 💗

  1. Don’t “should” yourself

  2. Do detox

  3. Remember: gratitude is like broccoli

🌱 Is broccoli good for you?? Yes. But is it good for you all the time without other foods? NO

Remember to incorporate a myriad of Self Care healthy coping mechanisms + give Gratitude a break if it’s not working.

~ the rest?? ~

✨ BE Career Development is planning workshops exactly for this! But essentially …

🌱 If you feel you “should” be grateful for something, but it triggers you … please don’t feel pressured to include.

🌱 And if you are triggered by something while engaging in #gratitude …

~ vent it out! ~

✨ List 10 things that are triggering you. Try to end with more (in this case 11) you are thankful for.

Hope this helps to support + empower you.

💗 Lots of love and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours …

Cheers to being your best you! ✨
