You see: it’s not about ignoring problems or challenges, it’s about being in a constructive + productive mindset to navigate them well! So what are her 3 Guidelines to a High-Quality, Sustainable Gratitude Practice?:
1. Do Detox: if triggered when naming things you are grateful for
Vent the things that are bothering you
Simply try to end with more items on your gratitude list
2. Don’t Should Yourself: almost self-explanatory
Essentially, if you feel you “should” be grateful for something
But simply cannot muster-up the energy, move onto the next item
